Game data

Tidebound works offline. The game does not collect or transmit personal information to the developer. It has no account registration, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, purchases, social features, or developer-operated server.

Local progress and settings

Completed levels, stars, daily-puzzle progress, unfinished games, sound preferences, and animation preferences are stored in the app's private storage on your device. The device's date is used to choose the daily puzzle. This information is used only to provide gameplay and restore your progress.

Storage, backup and deletion

Progress stays in local storage until you clear the app's storage or uninstall it. Android may back up and restore app data depending on your device and Google backup settings; the developer cannot access those backups. You can manage backups through your device's settings. We do not operate a server containing your gameplay data.

Sharing and permissions

The game does not sell or share personal data and does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, or photos. Google Play and Android may process installation, diagnostics, and backup information under their own policies and your settings.

Support

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use it to respond to your request, retain it only as needed for support or legal obligations, and do not use it for advertising. Please avoid sending sensitive information. Contact us to request deletion of support correspondence.

Children

The game does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other players. If you believe a child has sent personal information through support, contact us to request its deletion.

This website

The online version of this policy is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, to operate and secure its hosting service. This page contains no advertising, analytics scripts, or tracking cookies added by us.
